In the post, A New Take on Japan-U.S. Relations, I wrote about the Japan Society of Fairfield County, CT. They continue to put on great events by sponsoring an upcoming two day workshop on the Elements of Japanese Tea House & Zen Garden.
The classes are taught by the architects, Yoko Kawai and her husband whom I wrote about in Function & Design with the Brushstrokes of Japanese Aesthetic.
This workshop takes a hands-on approach in which participants can learn the elements of Japanese tea-houses and gardens and create their your own miniature representation of them.Making Serene Space: Elements of Japanese Tea House & Zen Garden
